Background

 

The Market Incentive Programme (MAP) has become a central funding instrument for heat supply from renewable energies.
It is of great importance for achieving a share of 14 % of renewable energies in the heating market till 2020, as defined in § 1of the draft for the Renewable Energies Heat Act (EEWärmeG). At the same time, the MAP is an integral part of the EEWärmeG.

Activities

 
  • Analysis and integration of the MAP in the heating market
  • Further development of the objects of funding as a part of the long-term strategy for the heating market, with particular regards to new technologies
  • evaluation of new objects of funding in the MAP and proposals for improving and expanding the MAP
  • Analysis of actors involved and required campaigns and communication programs for a further market diffusion of the MAP
  • Coordination of the MAP with current legislation and funding schemes
