Internationale Forschungskooperation zu Electric Road Systems II (CollERS II)
The successful cooperation for research on electric road systems (ERS) with Sweden that has developed under the predecessor project CollERS I (2018–2019) will be continued in this project with additional partner countries. The countries want to share knowledge and experiences from the national research and development projects as well as from the current field trials. Through the cooperation, knowledge can be deepened and broadened and open questions from international politics (e. g. EU) as well as from European industry and non-governmental organisations can be answered.
Scientific topics are:
- Technology Assessment
- Regulatory issues in cross-border expansion
- Economic feasibility study of ERS- and Non-ERS technologies
- Comparison of the non-technical/societal experiences from the field tests
- Expansion strategy along TEN-T corridors
