DeuRess II - Resource Report for Germany 2022

In its report series "The Use of Natural Resources in Germany", the Federal Environment Agency provides comprehensive information on central developments in the economy-wide use of raw materials. Topics such as raw material extraction, trade in raw materials and goods, raw material input, raw material consumption, raw material efficiency and the use of secondary raw materials are explained in detail and illustrated with selected examples. In addition, information on selected environmental impacts associated with the use of raw materials is included. The third report deals for the first time with the question of future raw material use. Experts as well as the interested public should feel addressed.

The DeuRess II project expands the data basis used in the third resource report and, in consultation with the client, provides the concept for the report and its possible implementation. The project also includes additional research and analyses on selected topics.
