New online tool checks whether a house can be heated with a heat pump

While heat pumps have long been standard in new buildings, there is still reluctance to replace heating systems in existing buildings – often due to uncertainty about whether a heat pump is technically suitable. A new online tool, created on behalf of the UBA, now provides clarity: the free ‘Building Check Heat Pump’ quickly shows homeowners whether their property is already ‘heat pump-compatible’ and, in case of doubt, what simple measures are still required.
